Hebrews 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

What are you looking at?  All of us do it, the constant pull to check the social media platforms.  The 24/7 news cycle.  Listening and reading...everything except the Bible! Here's a thought, why don't we, and that means myself too, spend more time in God's Word and in prayer talking to our Heavenly Father instead of spending so much time listening to the voices in the world.  Sure, there are things happening, Jesus said they would.  But if the voices of the world are all we listen to we will spiral into despair and depression.  If we keep our eyes on Jesus, we can be like Peter who walked on water. I don't know about you, but I think walking above the storm with Jesus is better than sinking in the storm!
